DMCA & Copyright Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
MidSaver respects the rights of copyright owners and expects the people who use the site to do the same. This page explains how we handle copyright concerns.
We do not host videos
The Service does not store, copy, or serve any video. When a visitor pastes a link, the site reads the public post on Instagram or Facebook and points the visitor’s browser to the video file that the platform itself publishes. The content stays on Instagram’s or Facebook’s servers at all times. Because of this, the fastest way to stop a video being downloadable anywhere is to remove it, or make it private, on the platform where it was posted.
Reporting a concern
If you own the copyright in a work and believe the Service is being misused in connection with it, send us a notice containing:
- your name, postal address, and email address;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- the exact Instagram or Facebook URL(s) of the content;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Send the notice through the contact page.
What we can do
We review every notice we receive. Where a specific link is reported we can block that URL so it can no longer be processed by the downloader. We can also block an entire account or Page on request from its verified owner.
Misuse of this process
Knowingly sending a false notice may make you liable for damages. Please only send a notice if you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
